MEMORIAL DAY ENTERTAINING

May 27, 2021

Memorial Day is a holiday we remember and honor our heroes. We count our blessings and stand proud. During Memorial Day weekend I like to set a beautiful table reflecting those who sacrificed so that we can be free and enjoy our lives.

Floral arrangements featuring our nation's flag colors is essential. There are so many stunning colored blooms right now with Spring finally here. From soft pinks, to vibrant reds and gorgeous blues there areas many floral arrangement options.

Pretty ginger jars and vases can add festive colors and meaning behind the day. Mini flags can be placed throughout the tablescape to accessorize and represent so much on this day. Beautiful crystal goblets are the perfect neutral and shiny accent to glorify your table.

An outdoor setting is the perfect place to entertain when the weather is warm. If you have a swimming pool in your yard it is truly an added bonus for entertaining and getting together. Having multiple entertaining stations in on's own backyard can keep guests interested and encourage conversation.

Festively themed napkin rings add a special touch as well as woven chargers and placemats. Adding a beauty feel to the patriotic theme truly brings about the essence of taking time off and enjoying oneself.

Charcuterie boards are a welcoming and beautiful way to make guests feel welcome. Weather it's a holiday like Memorial Day or 4th of July there are so many creative ways to add these delicious and beautiful aperitifs to your table.

Choosing a long tapas board can be the perfect way to display an array of fine foods for guests to enjoy. There are colorful selections to coordinate with different special occasions. Adding fruits, nuts cheeses and proteins are perfect choices to sprinkle your board with to make an easy treat for guests.

I hope this inspires you to create your perfect selection of delicacies for your fabulous friends and family! Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend with food, friends, family and festivities!
